Preferred Cremation and Burial will host the 6th Annual Holiday Jazz Concert on Saturday, December 6th at 5:30 PM at St. Stephen’s Church of God in Christ, located at 5825 Imperial Avenue in San Diego.

The event has become a recurring holiday tradition in the community and is expected to draw local residents, music enthusiasts, and families.

This year’s program features vocalist Daneen Wilburn and Grammy Award–winning musician and producer Kamau Kenyatta. They will perform alongside a full ensemble that includes Jordan Wilburn, Joanna Broussard, Toni Holmes, Tonga Ross, Richard Sellers, Rick Giordano, Monette Marino, and Derek Cannon. A scheduled appearance by Santa Myk is also planned as part of the evening’s festivities.

According to Preferred Cremation and Burial CEO Mark Jenkins, the company continues its involvement with the concert as a way to support community engagement during the holiday season. “Each year, this concert serves as a reminder of the importance of coming together. We are pleased to partner with St. Stephen’s in helping maintain this tradition,” Jenkins said.

The event is supported by several community contributors, including Magnolia Medical Clinic, Montula Media, God’s Design, San Diego Voice & Viewpoint, and Common Ground Theatre.

The concert is open to the public, and organizers expect a strong turnout for the annual holiday gathering.
